V for Vendetta is a 2005 dystopian political action film directed by James McTeigue (in his feature directorial debut) from a screenplay by the Wachowskis. It is based on the 1988–89 DC Vertigo Comics limited series of the same title by Alan Moore, David Lloyd, and Tony Weare.
Un vendicatore di nome V, mascherato da Guy Fawkes (il ribelle impiccato nella storica congiura delle polveri del 1605), colto e galantuomo, salva la giovane Evey dalle violenze di alcuni sbirri: insieme lotteranno contro un regime che perseguita stranieri, omosessuali e oppositori.
