The Temple of Vesta, or the aedes (Latin Aedes Vestae; Italian: Tempio di Vesta ), is an ancient edifice in Rome, Italy. It is located in the Roman Forum near the Regia and the House of the Vestal Virgins.

14 giu 2021 · The Temple of Vesta was an ancient Roman shrine dedicated to the goddess of the hearth, the remains of which are found in the southeast of the Roman Forum beside the Atrium Vestae.
Il tempio di Vesta è un piccolo tempio rotondo situato all'estremità orientale del Foro Romano a Roma, lungo la via Sacra accanto alla Regia ed alla Casa delle Vestali: insieme a quest'ultimo edificio costituiva un unico complesso religioso, con il nome di atrium Vestae.
From the circular podium in Roman concrete covered in marble, columns with Corinthian capitals rose. The interior housed the brazier with the sacred fire, which was never to be extinguished, a symbol of the eternity of Rome and its destiny as a universal empire.
23 ott 2013 · The Temple of Vesta is the popular name given to the round temple near the Tiber River in Rome (now Piazza Bocca della Veritá). The association with Vesta is due to the shape of the building but in fact it is not known to which god the temple was dedicated.
