22 ott 2023 · The site is currently leased by the City of Murfreesboro to the Tennessee Highway Department which manages it as a roadside park. The dam is a concrete gravity structure approximately fifteen feet high and 250 feet long with an overflow spillway section approximately 180 feet long.
Small watercraft access. The Walter Hill Trailhead is at the entrance to Murfreesboro's Walter Hill Recreation Area on the East Fork Stones River at Highway 231. It is the southeast end of the shaded 1.3-mile North Murfreesboro Greenway that follows the river northwest to Central Valley Trailhead.
