William Eden, 1st Baron Auckland, PC (Ire), FRS (3 April 1745 – 28 May 1814) was a British diplomat and politician who sat in the House of Commons from 1774 to 1793.

Era figlio di sir Robert Eden, terzo baronetto; fu educato a Eton e a Oxford, dove fece brillanti studî, divenne avvocato e pubblicò un trattato di diritto penale. Eletto deputato per New Woodstock nel 1774, fu nominato nel 1776 uno dei lord del Board of trade and plantations.
