Susan Kay Quatro [1] (born June 3, 1950) [2] is an American singer, bass guitarist, songwriter and actor. In the 1970s, she scored a string of singles that found success in Europe and Australia, with both "Can the Can" (1973) and "Devil Gate Drive" (1974) reaching No. 1 in several countries. Quatro released her self-titled debut album in 1973.

October 19th 2016, Suzi was made Honorary Doctor of Music, and received her award, in cap and gown at Cambridge University. she is now offically Doctor Quatro. In 2021 she released a second album, with her son, ‘The Devil in Me’, which also charted around the world.
