Jonathan David Klein (born 9 April 1960) known professionally as Jon Klein and sometimes as John Kline, is an English guitarist and producer, best known for being a member of Siouxsie and the Banshees for seven years, from 1987 until 1994.
Jonathan Klein is an American media and technology executive and entrepreneur. He is the former president of CNN/US and the co-founder and co-chairman of Tapp Media.
Jon Klein is the author of over 30 produced plays, performed Off-Broadway and at many prestigious regional theatres, including premieres at the Humana Festival at Actors Theatre of Louisville, the Alliance Theatre, Arena Stage and many others.
The band was formed in 1981 in Bristol, England by vocalist Olli Wisdom with guitarists Jon Klein (from Europeans) and Kevin Mills (from the X-Certs). Their first show was at a street party celebrating the wedding of Charles, Prince of Wales and Lady Diana Spencer.
