Aphrodite's Child was a Greek rock and pop band formed in 1967, by Evangelos Papathanassiou, known professionally as Vangelis, (keyboards, flutes), Demis Roussos (bass, acoustic and electric guitar, vocals), Loukas Sideras (drums and vocals), and Silver Koulouris (guitar).

"Rain and Tears" is a song by the Greek band Aphrodite's Child. The song was included on the band's 1968 debut studio album End of the World, and was released as a single in July 1968 on Mercury Records.
