Stephen Trask (born Stephen R. Schwartz; born August 29, 1966) is an American musician and composer who graduated from Wesleyan University. He was the music director and house band member at the New York City club Squeezebox, where they performed with stars such as Debbie Harry, Lene Lovich and Joey Ramone.
Hedwig and the Angry Inch is a 1998 musical about a fictional rock and roll band of the same name fronted by an East German gay man living as a woman, with a book by John Cameron Mitchell (who also played the title role in the original production and film), and music and lyrics by Stephen Trask.
