The Dublin Institute of Technology (DIT) School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (SEEE) is the largest and one of the longest established Schools of Electrical and Electronic Engineering in Ireland. It is located at the DIT Kevin Street Campus in Dublin City, as part of the College of Engineering & Built Environment (CEBE).

It is the result of a merger of three of the ITs in the County Dublin area - Dublin Institute of Technology, IT Tallaght and IT Blanchardstown. Several Technological Universities have since been set up in the country. Munster TU was established 01 January 2021 through a merger of Cork IT and IT Tralee (Kerry).
Description. The Dublin Institute of Technology (DIT) was statutorily established as an autonomous institution on 1 January 1993, under the Dublin Instute of Technology Act (1992). It was constituted from the six higher education colleges of the City of Dublin Vocational Education Committee.
