Justin McCain (born December 18, 1979, in Omaha, Nebraska, United States) who grew up in Carson and Treynor, Iowa, is an American musician, songwriter, producer and label executive, whose songs have been collectively streamed worldwide over 450 million times.
Through Fire is an American rock band from Omaha, Nebraska, founded in 2015 by songwriter, guitarist and producer Justin McCain and currently consists of vocalist Grant Joshua Kendrick, twins Tyler and Zach Halverson on guitar and drums respectively, and Kyle LeBlanc on bass.

Il 10 dicembre 2015 Justin McCain annuncia, tramite la pagina Facebook del gruppo, che gli Emphatic hanno cambiato nome in Through the Fire. Nel contempo, annuncia che il gruppo pubblicherà un nuovo album nel 2016. Pochi giorni dopo, il nome viene nuovamente cambiato in Through Fire.
