Der Landtag Brandenburg ( niedersorbisch Krajny sejm Bramborska) ist das Parlament des Landes Brandenburg und hat seinen Sitz im Stadtschloss in der Landeshauptstadt Potsdam. Die Abgeordneten werden für fünf Jahre gewählt, so dass nach der Wahl im Jahr 2019 die nächste turnusmäßig im Jahr 2024 stattfindet. [1] [2]

Most of the state consists of a sandy plain that is interspersed with numerous fertile areas and stretches of pine and fir forests. Because of its sandy soils, it was formerly popularly known as the “sandbox of the Holy Roman Empire.”
