Kurt Matthias Robert Martin Hahn CBE (5 June 1886 – 14 December 1974) was a German educator. He was decisive in founding Stiftung Louisenlund, Schule Schloss Salem, Gordonstoun, Outward Bound, the Duke of Edinburgh's Award, and the first of the United World Colleges, Atlantic College.

Kurt Matthias Robert Martin Hahn (geboren am 5. Juni 1886 in Berlin; gestorben am 14. Dezember 1974 in Hermannsberg/Hattenweiler unweit der von ihm gegründeten Schule Schloss Salem) war ein deutscher Politiker und Pädagoge und gilt als einer der Begründer der Erlebnispädagogik.
The British Salem School of Gordonstoun was established in 1934 by Kurt Hahn, a German Jewish educationalist who, after being arbitrarily arrested after the Reichstag fire, fled Nazi Germany. Hahn was asked by friends to give a demonstration in the UK of his "Salem system".
Outward Bound (OB) is an international network of outdoor education organisations that was founded in the United Kingdom by Lawrence Holt and Kurt Hahn in 1941. Today there are organisations, called schools, in over 35 countries which are attended by more than 150,000 people each year.
