Ernest II, Duke of Brunswick-Lüneburg (1564–1611), was the Prince of Lüneburg from 1592 to 1611. Life [ edit ] Ernest was born on 31 December 1564 as the second of fifteen children and the eldest son of William the Younger and his consort Dorothea of Denmark .

Luigi Ernesto di Brunswick-Lüneburg-Bevern è stato un Feldmaresciallo del Sacro Romano Impero e della Repubblica delle Sette Province Unite. Dal 1751 al 1766 fu Capitano-Generale dei Paesi Bassi, dove era conosciuto come Duca di Brunswick o Duca di Brunswick-Wolfenbüttel.

Ernest Augustus, Elector of Hanover. Ernest Augustus ( German: Ernst August; 20 November 1629 – 23 January 1698), Duke of Brunswick-Lüneburg, was Prince of Calenberg from 1679 until his death, and father of George I of Great Britain. He was appointed as the ninth prince-elector of the Holy Roman Empire in 1692.
Ernest Augustus (Ernest Augustus Christian George, German: Ernst August Christian Georg); 17 November 1887 – 30 January 1953) was Duke of Brunswick from 2 November 1913 to 8 November 1918. He was a grandson of George V of Hanover , thus a Prince of Hanover and a Prince of the United Kingdom .
