i’ve watched Dima El-Horr’s short film prêt-à-porter, imm ali (2003) before, and her storytelling is so captivating. the camera work in Everyday is a Holiday is creative and experimental. the horrifying elements genuinely made me uncomfortable but it’s always followed with quite wholesome moments even until the very end.
