Patrick Bowes-Lyon, 15th and 2nd Earl of Strathmore and Kinghorne, DL (22 September 1884 – 25 May 1949) was a British nobleman and peer. As the eldest brother of Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother, he was a maternal uncle of Queen Elizabeth II.
Biografia. Timothy Patrick Bowes-Lyon, fu il figlio secondogenito di Patrick Bowes-Lyon, XV Conte di Strathmore e Kinghorne e nipote della regina madre Elizabeth Bowes-Lyon, moglie del re Giorgio VI del Regno Unito. Egli era cugino di primo grado della regina Elisabetta II del Regno Unito .
Il titolo di Conte di Kinghorne venne creato nella Parìa scozzese nel 1606 per Patrick Lyon. Nel 1677, la designazione della dignità nobiliare venne cambiata in "Conte di Strathmore e Kinghorne".
